The Unaki Sky God
According to certain theories though unproven these beings arrived on Earth from another world to mine for gold and enslave humanity. They are identified as the Anunnaki a group of ancient deities from Mesopotamian Sumerian Akkadian and Babylonian mythology. The name "Anunnaki" derives from Sumerian roots meaning "those who came down from the heavens." This group includes figures such as Enlil god of the sky and air and Enki also known as Ea god of water and wisdom. They are often depicted as leaders or overseers sometimes associated with the underworld or the regulation of earthly phenomena like earthquakes.
In traditional Sumerian and Babylonian beliefs they are portrayed as powerful architects who shaped the world. Modern narratives often linked to ancient astronaut theories and conspiracy theories characterize the Anunnaki as extraterrestrials who traveled to Earth to mine gold and played a role in the creation or evolution of humanity. Etymologically the name combines "An" meaning sky or supreme god and "Ki" meaning earth signifying their role as deities who bridge the heavens and the terrestrial world.

The sacred capstone of Heliopolis symbolizing the origin of the world has been linked to the idea of a flying object or spacecraft that fell from the heavens. The concept of "extraterrestrial gods" or aliens interacting with ancient Egypt falls under the "Ancient Astronauts" theory which posits that mythological deities were actually intelligent extraterrestrial beings who visited Earth in the distant past. Regarding the animal-headed figures of Egyptian gods these are traditionally understood as metaphors for natural attributes and powers.

The colossal Olmec heads were carved from massive basalt boulders weighing several tons archaeologists believe they depict the faces of Olmec kings or leaders. Their features characterized by broad noses thick lips and headgear resembling aviator helmets have sparked speculation and conspiracy theories suggesting influence from extraterrestrial visitors. The Olmec civilization flourished in what is now Mexico specifically the states of Veracruz and Tabasco from approximately 1200 to 400 BCE it was the first ancient civilization in Mesoamerica not the work of aliens or extraterrestrial beings.

Monument 19 is an ancient stone carving from the La Venta archaeological site of the Olmec civilization in Mexico created between approximately 900 and 400 BCE.
